  • Who We Are

    broken image

    Tiffany Trump, LCSW

    Owner, Therapist, Certified Coach

Hi, I’m Tiffany and I'm honored you're here reading this. I'm a wife + mom + therapist + coach. I am passionate about working alongside women in their journey to emotional wellness.

There have been plenty of times when I’ve felt overwhelmed with all the responsibilities that come with life, especially motherhood. I’ve also felt like I wasn't not doing enough or being enough no matter how hard I tried. And then there are the times when I just felt stuck and wished I could figure out how to change. It is through both my clinical and personal life experiences that I now understand how to work through emotional challenges, to build resilience, and strive towards wellness despite all of life's ups and downs.

I received my Bachelors in Social Work from Weber State University and my Masters in Social Work from Eastern Washington University. I approach each session with empathy, authenticy and a desire to create a safe and accepting therapeutic environment. I utilize a variety of evidence based treatment modalities to help women cope with anxiety, depression, life adjustments, relationship challenges, faith crisis, mood & stress management, self-esteem, and grief and loss.

    Stephanie Sonntag, CMHC

    Therapist, EMDR Certified

Hi there, I’m Stephanie. I’m no stranger to challenges. As a single mom with two kids, I have more demands than time and energy to meet them. I prioritize my role as a mom above all else but I also have to provide for my family. Each life stage brings new challenges but I am passionate about helping my clients face current obstacles, heal from the past, and find joy along the way.

As a native to this area, I appreciate the beauty Utah has to offer, but am not immune to the pressure put on women, and moms particularly, in this area. There are expectations to look a certain way and have it all together, but make it look easy. When everyone around you seems to have the perfect life, it can be hard to admit you are struggling and open up about difficult things you are facing. But facing your challenges in a non-judgemental, safe space can lead to healing and improved relationships.

I received my bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in journalism. When my youngest started kindergarten I started a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Westminster College in SLC. I have worked with a variety of issues from domestic violence and trauma, to depression and anxiety. Like Tiffany, my favorite population to work with is women.

What are your fees, payment methods and insurance information?

The cost for counseling within our office ranges between $150 and $199 per session.

We accept cash, venmo, all major credit cards, HSA and FSA. We also accept Bishop pay and would be happy to discuss this more if needed.

Our office is predominately self-pay, meaning we are not in network with most insurance plans and most clients pay out of pocket. Some of our clients are able to save money with reimbursement from their insurance company even though we are out of network. This happens through a document called a Superbill that we are happy to supply you with. Please ask us about this option if you're interested to learn more.

    Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes! We offer virtual therapy services, which allows you to engage in counseling from the comfort of your own space. Virtual sessions offer flexibility and are done with a secure and confidential link through our electronic health record system called Simple Practice.

How often do I attend sessions?

Frequency of sessions is discussed between you and your therapist during your first session. This is typically determined based on your goals and type of support you are wanting from your therapist.

    Do you provide medication services?

We are not licensed to prescribe medications but we work closely with trusted providers in the area, and are able to refer you to those providers who specialize in medication management.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Under section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers are required to inform individuals, who are not enrolled in an insurance plan or not seeking to file a claim with their plan, an estimate of expected charges for medical services. When you begin therapy within our office, we will supply you with a Good Faith Estimate reviewing what you can expect to pay for your services. To learn more about the Good Faith Estimate or No Surprises Act, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

    Is therapy confidential?

In general, the law protects the confidentiality of all communications between a client and therapist. No information is disclosed without prior written permission from the client.

However, there are some legal exceptions to this rule. Exceptions include:

    • Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elderly abuse. I am required to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
    • If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person. I am required to notify the police.
    • If a client intends to harm himself or herself. I will make every effort to work with the individual to ensure their safety. However, if an individual does not cooperate, additional measures may need to be taken.
